قضى آشلي يونج الظهير الإنجليزي المخضرم مسيرة حافلة ارتدى فيها قمصان العديد من الأندية مثل مانشستر يونايتد وإيفرتون وأستون فيلا وواتفورد وإنتر ميلان الإيطالي.

وقد أكمل نادي إبسويتش تاون تعاقده مع الظهير المخضرم الإنجليزي آشلي يونج بعد رحيله عن صفوف إيفرتون.

وغادر آشلي يونج صاحب الـ40 عاماً صفوف إيفرتون هذا الصيف بعد انتهاء عقده، وقد دخل في محادثات مع إبسويتش تاون واختار ارتداء قميص الفريق.

وانضم آشلي يونج إلى النادي الذي يلعب في الدوري الإنجليزي الدرجة الأولى “الشامبيونشيب” الموسم المقبل بعقد لعام واحد حتى 2026.

وسيحل آشلي يونج في إبسويتش تاون محل الظهير الأيمن الاساسي أكسل توانزيبي بعد انتهاء عقده وانضمامه إلى نادي بيرنلي.

وسيضيف آشلي يونج مزيدًا من الخبرة إلى إيبسويتش تاون بعد رحيل لاعب خط الوسط ماسيمو لونجو صاحب الـ32 عاماً نهاية الموسم الماضي.

وقال ماكينا للموقع الرسمي لنادي إبسويتش تاون حول انضمام يونج إلى النادي: “لطالما كانت مسيرته رائعة وإنجازاته تتحدث عن نفسها”.

وأضاف: “لقد حافظ على مستوى عالي جداً من الاحترافية والتنافسية طوال مسيرته ولا يزال يقدم أداء جيد جداً، قيادته وخبرته سيكونا قيمتين هذا الموسم وهو متعطش للمساهمة داخل الملعب وخارجه”.

جدير بالذكر أن يونج قد قضى موسمين في إيفرتون بعد انضمامه من أستون فيلا حيث شارك في 70 مباراة وسجل هدفين.

Thiago Rodrigues foi decisivo na vitória sobre o Criciúma, no último sábado, em São Januário, por 2 a 1. O goleiro realizou pelo menos dois milagres, um quando o jogo estava 1 a 0 e outro, já no fim, quando o Vasco estava vencendo. O jogador comentou sobre as defesas, afirmando que foram as mais importantes em sua trajetória no Cruz-Maltino.

– Foram duas defesas especiais, vão ficar no meu top-5, top-3 do ano. Essa pela magnitude do jogo, que nos colocou a um passo do acesso. Realmente mexe com a gente e se torna mais especial. Acho que foi a última, mas a primeira foi muito difícil, porque eu estava passando da bola, mas eu consigo tirar. A última teve um grau de dificuldade e a importância foi maior porque foi depois da virada, no final do jogo. Então foi mais difícil.

A vitória de virada colocou o Vasco na vice-liderança da Série B, com 59 pontos. Thiago Rodrigues destacou a importância de ter vencido, mas valorizou ainda mais o empate com o Sport, jogo que para ele foi o mais importante.

– Acho que foi muito importante aquela vitória sobre o Operário, esse jogo contra o Criciúma, mas o ponto fundamental foi contra o Sport. O gol do Raniel, eu até falei para ele que foi o gol do acesso. Foi o jogo que nos manteve vivo, se a gente perde, iríamos chegar contra o Criciúma com uma outra atmosfera. Realmente esse jogo lá contra o Sport nos deixou mais próximo do acesso, mas o próximo será o mais importante – finalizou Thiago Rodrigues.

O Vasco volta a jogar na próxima quinta-feira, novamente em São Januário, contra o Sampaio Corrêa. O Cruz-Maltino sacramenta o acesso em caso de vitória, mas pode subir até mesmo com uma derrota, desde que Sport, Londrina e Ituano não vençam na rodada.

ونشر دياز عبر حسابه الرسمي على “إنستجرام” رسالة خاصة لزميله السابق في ليفربول والذي توفي في وقت سابق من شهر يوليو الجاري، ديوجو جوتا في عمر 28 عامًا.

دياز أكد أنه لن ينسى جوتا والذي توفي في حادث سير بعد أيام قليلة من حفل زفافه والتتويج مع منتخب البرتغال الشهر الماضي بلقب دوري الأمم الأوروبية.

وقال دياز عن جوتا: ”من الجيد أن أغادر وقد أديت واجبي، والأهم من ذلك كله، أن أغادر بطلًا، لكان الوداع مثاليًا لو لم نفقد أحدًا منا بهذه الطريقة المأساوية”.

وأضاف: ”كما قلت، وأكرر، أحمل الجميع معي في قلبي، ولكن واحدًا منهم تحديدًا، ديوجو، لن أنساه أبدًا، لن ننساه أبدًا، شكرًا لك على كل شيء”.

واستكمل دياز في وداعية ليفربول: ”ثلاث سنوات ونصف ستبقى محفورة في ذاكرتي للأبد، وصلت بكل أحلامي، وأغادر فخورًا بكل ما حققناه معًا”.

وأوضح: ”لقد قابلت أشخاصًا رائعين، وزملاءً رائعين، ومدربين ساعدوني كثيرًا، ومشجعين استثنائيين، ليفربول فريق مميز حقًا، وسأحتفظ بجميع أفراده في قلبي، تنتهي هذه الرحلة هنا، ومن دواعي سروري أن أنظر إلى الوراء وأدرك كم كنا سعداء”.

Wade said he was unsure though whether that would be the case for the T20 World Cup next year.”We’ve got the T20 World Cup coming up, whether I’m the number one keeper there and play, whether that be that I go as a spare bat/keeper I’m not 100% sure. I don’t know if the selectors and the coaches are 100% sure.”But I want to be there. I want to play. If it ends up being that No.7 role as the wicketkeeper, I feel like I’ve probably nailed that spot down in the last few years for the Australian T20 side. So fingers crossed I get the nod in that but if I don’t I’m really comfortable going and playing my role.”Wade added he was surprised that the selectors had named David Warner and Steven Smith in the squad, despite resting a host of other senior three-format players ahead of the first Test of the summer against Pakistan in mid-December.”It’s a really exciting squad,” Wade said. “I didn’t expect to see some of the older faces in there. The guys have been over there for so long, to be honest, and they’re going to hang around and play in those games.”Matt Short, who’s come on in leaps and bounds in the last little bit, he’ll be around there. وذكرت صحيفة آس، أن رودريجو وجه رسالة هامة إلى ألونسو مفادها أن رغبته الأولى والأخيرة هي الاستمرار في صفوف ريال مدريد خلال الموسم الجديد.

وأضاف المصدر قائلًا، أن رودريجو يريد كسب ثقة تشابي ألونسو، حيث يسعى اللاعب إلى إقناع مدربه بأنه سيكون له دور أساسي في خطة الفريق الملكي التي تعول على ثنائي هجومي.

وسبق أن أكدت بعض المصادر، أن ألونسو ينوي الاعتماد على ثنائي خط هجوم في تشكيل ريال مدريد الأساسي الموسم المقبل، حيث يعتبر فينيسيوس جونيور بجانب كيليان مبابي هما المرشحين للعب بصورة أساسية.

وأوضح المصدر، أن رودريجو سيتعين عليه التنافس مع إبراهيم دياز ، وفرانكو ماستانتونو الوافد الجديد من ريفر بلايت، وذلك من أجل استعادة مكانه الأساسي في تشكيلة ريال مدريد.

But in a newspaper column at the weekend, Johnson questioned whether Warner had been in strong enough form to set his own retirement date and opened up old wounds by referencing his role in the “Sandpapergate” ball-tampering saga.The extent of Johnson’s critique, which included suggesting that “Bunnings would sell out of sandpaper”, has brought criticism but Warner himself laughed the comments off as he addressed them for the first time.”It wouldn’t be a summer without a headline, would it?” he said at the launch of Fox Cricket’s summer coverage in Parramatta on Friday. “It is what it is. Everyone’s entitled to their own opinions. Moving forward, we’re looking forward to a nice Test over in the west.”Since the summer of 2020-21, Warner has managed only one Test century from 25 matches – a memorable double-hundred against South Africa in his 100th Test at the MCG in late 2022.Australian selectors have stuck by Warner amid the lean stretch, which has admittedly featured two dismissals in the 90s, and are in the midst of determining his replacement beyond Sydney. The playing group has been just as supportive in recent days.”I think we protect each other a lot,” Cummins said. “We’ve been through a lot over the years, our boys. Someone like Davey or Steve [Smith], I’ve played with them for a dozen years now so we’re fiercely protective of each other.”Sometimes you’ve got to remind yourself of the amount of positive support that is out there.”Warner, focused on ending his career on a high, said he learned long ago to knuckle down in the face of criticism like Johnson’s.”My parents ingrained that into me,” he said. “They taught me every day to fight and work hard. When you go onto the world stage and you don’t realise what comes with that, it’s a lot of media, a lot of criticism but a lot of positive.”I think what’s more important is what you see here today, the people coming out to support cricket.”Cummins was hopeful Australia can move past the saga ahead of their first home match since a successful winter that yielded wins in the ODI World Cup and World Test Championship finals as well as a drawn Ashes series in England.The Perth Test is also set to mark Nathan Lyon’s return from the calf injury he suffered early in the Ashes.”We’ve had arguably our most successful year ever. We’re going into a really exciting summer,” Cummins said. “There’s so many positive things around Australian cricket I think we should be talking about and we’re focusing on that [Johnson’s column].”
