أعلن المدير الفني للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي برشلونة، تشافي هيرنانديز، عن قائمة اللاعبين الذين سيخوضون مباراة جيرونا في الجولة الـ 16 من الدوري الإسباني.

وتنطلق مباراة برشلونة وجيرونا في تمام الساعة العاشرة مساءً بتوقيت “القاهرة” على ملعب “منتجويك” بقيادة الحكم الشاب، إيسيدرو دياز دي ميرا.

وشهدت قائمة برشلونة استمرار غياب الظهير الأيسر، ماركوس ألونسو، ولكن هذه المرة بسبب شعوره ببعض آلام الظهر.

Even if they do that, they still have the luxury of fielding an all-international attack, with the two Kumars and the two Sharmas plus Ravi Bopara and Moises Henriques.How Daredevils could still make it

With three matches to play, Delhi Daredevils are seventh in the league after four wins and seven defeats. Their situation is dire, but the teams are bunched so closely that Daredevils can still finish in the top four. Here’s how:
First, they need to win all their games and get to 14 points. Then, other results need to go Daredevils’ way. That would mean two or three of the top-placed teams winning a lot, while the others don’t go past 14.
For example, if Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders win two of their remaining three games, they will have 18 and 17 points. Mumbai Indians are on an amazing run with five wins on the trot, and if they win two of their next three they will finish with 16.
That will leave one spot available, and Daredevils could take it if they win three games, and others don’t do as well. If Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad win only one of their last four games, they will finish on 13 and 12 points. If Rajasthan Royals lose their remaining two games, it will be a fight between Daredevils and Royals, both of whom will have 14. Daredevils will prevail because they have more wins – Royals’ 14 points includes two washouts – and the first tie-breaker for teams with equal points is the number of wins.

Instead Panesar has endured a troubled start to 2015, leading him to take an indefinite break from the game and seek help from the Professional Cricketers’ Association.Panesar has only just turned 33 and is second only to Graeme Swann among England’s spin bowlers since Derek Underwood. But even his future as a county cricketer is uncertain. His contract with Essex expires at the end of the summer, and it is understood that Panesar is unlikely to be offered a new deal.Neil Burns, Panesar’s mentor and coach, had confirmed that Panesar had flirted with retirement earlier in 2015. But he now says Panesar, who he is working with extensively, plans to return to the game this season.”I wouldn’t want to put a timeline on that but hopefully soon. When he’s really happy with his game that’s when he’ll decide he’s ready to come and play full-time. Hopefully by being nurtured in a quiet way away from the spotlight he’s going to be right on top of his game as and when the time is right for him to re-enter the first-class arena.”Burns is working to reinvigorate Panesar’s love for the game. “At his best he bowls with real passion and puts all of himself into his bowling – so it’s not just a technical thing, it’s that real desire to spin the ball hard and be an aggressive spin bowler. Panesar’s last professional game was a Championship match at The Oval at the end of April. Aron Nijjar, a 20-year-old left-armer, has also provided spin in Panesar’s absence. After getting divorced in 2012, he had a series of difficulties at Sussex. Famously, in August 2013, he was arrested and fined £90 for being drunk and disorderly after urinating over bouncers outside a nightclub in Brighton just after 4am. Panesar released a statement offering an “unreserved apology” for his behaviour, and soon moved to Essex, initially on loan, before joining on a two-year contract ahead of 2014.He has certainly provided illustrations of his class at Essex. Against Glamorgan at Swansea last August, Panesar took 11-168 in 73 overs in the match. In total, he took 46 first-class wickets at 24.86 apiece last year.Yet Essex have grown frustrated with Panesar in spite of these impressive numbers. He was dropped for poor time keeping last season, and there have complaints about his unpredictable attitude.Even in Division Two of the Championship, his consistently poor batting and fielding means Panesar can pose problems for the balance of the side. He does not fit into Essex’s limited overs plans, and has played only three List A or T20 games since joining the club. If Essex do not renew his contract, it might prove a struggle for Panesar to find a fourth county of his career. Burns said that a new deal “depends, I imagine, on how the rest of the season goes.”As he tries to find his way back, Panesar is working closely with a personal development manager at the Professional Cricketers’ Association. The PCA were not willing to disclose further details, although it is understood that Panesar’s current issues are not alcohol related.”One of our PDMs is working on personal development stuff with him. 81% of current pros are doing similar,” said Jason Radcliffe, the Assistant Chief Executive of the PCA. “It wouldn’t be right to discuss any of it.””What they discuss is personal and private. The programme aims to enhance cricket whilst not distracting from it and tries to ensure that players are best prepared for life after cricket whenever that might be.”Recent events have come as a surprise to many who worked closely with Panesar earlier in his career. Dave Parsooth, his former agent and a family friend, remembers Panesar as someone who “was quite strong and could handle himself” when he first broke into the England side in 2006.”Everybody is a bit shellshocked as to the big downfall,” Parsooth said. “He was good enough for England but I don’t know about now – I can’t tell.”

Desde então, o Rubro-Negro disputou 19 partidas, pelo Brasileirão e pela Copa Libertadores, com uma derrota, três derrotas e 15 vitórias. Na ausência do camisa 10, a braçadeira passou a ser vestida por Everton Ribeiro e Diego Alves, enquanto o time alcançou seu melhor nível em 2019.

A evolução não deve-se à saída de Diego, e sim ao encaixe dado ao time por Jorge Jesus, que mudou a forma de atuar do Flamengo, que, hoje, tem uma postura agressiva dentro de fora de casa. A volta de Diego aos jogos será gradual, mas o meia pode ter papel importante na reta final do Brasileirão e Libertadores.

وتأهل فلومينينسي على حساب الأهلي المصري بعد فوزه بهدفين دون رد، ومانشستر سيتي حسم مقعده في النهائي بالفوز بثلاثية نظيفة أمام أوراوا الياباني.

وتقام مباراة مانشستر سيتي وفلومينينسي بنهائي كأس العالم للأندية، غدًا الجمعة في المملكة العربية السعودية.

وقال جوارديولا في مؤتمره الصحفي قبل المباراة: “لن أتحدث للحظة عما قالته الصحافة عن مباراة الغد، أعرف موهبة فلومينينسي ومدى أهمية كأس العالم للأندية لفرق أمريكا الجنوبية”.

The CLT20 was cancelled because of the lack of viability from a broadcaster’s perspective. An IPL insider revealed that the tournament was worth almost a billion dollars over ten years but the broadcasters failed to recover even a tenth of that.The biggest impact following the cancellation of the CLT20 will be felt by non-Indian domestic teams, who have lost out on a three-way income stream. Non-Indian teams in the tournament received participation fees of US$500,000 per team, prize money and US$150,000 per player who chose to turn out for his IPL team instead of his domestic team, in the event that both qualified.”The CLT20 was a cash cow for international teams,” the source told ESPNcricinfo. “For a team like T&T, when a Samuel Badree or Dwayne Bravo is playing for other teams, the money they receive from them would change things immediately. The CLT20 was a game-changer for other teams around the world given the sheer amount of money.”Impact on respective boardsBCCI
Of the three stakeholders – the BCCI, CA and CSA – the Indian board and its teams are the best off. The BCCI will receive US$190 million – more than half the $330 million settlement between the three boards and the broadcaster Star India – and the IPL teams will no longer have to spend thousands of dollars for retaining overseas players for the CLT20. “For Indian franchises, most of the amount would be spent towards retaining the services of a Pollard or de Villiers,” the source said.Cricket Australia
CA is the next biggest beneficiary. It will receive US$80 million following the closure of CLT20 and has a television rights deal to cushion it against other loss. Cricket Australia made somewhere in the region of US$25 million in each edition of the Champions League, and in the early seasons of the Big Bash League, it was this money that allowed the BBL project head Mike McKenna to say “domestic Twenty20 operations” were running at a profit.The broadcast networks, Channel Nine and Channel Ten, alleviated CA’s reliance on this revenue in 2013. The deal with Channel Ten for the BBL alone is worth $20 million per season, while Nine’s investment of $500 million over five years also strengthened the board’s position and the funds that could be doled out to the states and their BBL teams.Cricket South Africa
The South African board will receive US$60 million from the settlement but its franchises, who operate as separate companies to the national body, are concerned about their own affairs. CSA will split the participation fees of the two teams who took part in the tournament between all six of their franchises, who received R350,000 (US$28.778) a year.Several franchise CEOs described the funds coming in from CLT20 as “essential”, because the income-earning opportunities for South African franchises are limited. “The participation money from the CLT20 is worth more than we get in prize money for winning a domestic tournament,” Nabeal Dien, CEO of Cobras, said. For turning up in the CLT20, teams receive the equivalent of R2.4 million (US$200,000). The West Indies Cricket Board loses between $300,000 and 400,000 as a whole from the tournament being cancelled. A major portion, over 65% of the money they would earn from the CLT20 was channelled towards development in the territories with the remainder retained by the board.The WICB was also concerned about the impact on domestic teams. “It’s what funds the region will be devoid of, not the board. Everything does not just go in the WICB coffers as that money has to be shared,” Michael Muirhead, CEO of WICB said. “You can’t just say what money the board will be missing out on.” He estimated that the funds that “the region” would no longer be privy to could be around “a couple hundreds of thousands of US Dollars.”Sri Lanka Cricket
For Sri Lanka, where the board owns all the franchises, the effect will be felt at national level. The SLC received the US$500,000 participation fee plus the amounts from players retained by IPL franchises. Around 5% of this money went into operational costs, another 5% to the players and the remaining 90% into SLC coffers.

Nesta quarta, às 21h30, o Corinthians volta a jogar uma partida oficial no estado de Alagoas após um hiato de 11 anos ou 4.085 dias. Pela 29ª rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro, o Timão mede forças com o CSA no estádio Rei Pelé. Na última vez que o Alvinegro fez uma partida em Maceió, o clube disputava a Série B, no longínquo ano de 2008.

Em agosto daquele ano, o Corinthians do hoje palmeirense Mano Menezes foi enfrentar o CRB na abertura do segundo turno da Segundona. Com gols do argentino Herrera, que vivia grande fase com a camisa do Timão, e de Careca, o Alvinegro bateu o time da casa, por 2 a 1. O clube do Parque São Jorge viria a ser campeão naquela temporada com um aproveitamento de 74%.

De lá para cá, o Timão enfrentou muitas mudanças. O clube conseguiu feitos importantes como a repatriação do atacante Ronaldo em 2009, as três edições do Campeonato Brasileiro (2011, 2015 e 2017), o inédito título da Copa Libertadores e o bicampeonato mundial, ambos em 2012. Durante todo esse tempo, os três principais clubes de Alagoas (CSA, CRB e ASA) não conseguiram acesso à elite do futebol nacional e não cruzaram o caminho do Timão em outras competições.

Nesta quarta, o Corinthians tenta reeditar a façanha da década passada, agora contra o CSA do técnico Argel Fucks. O time, hoje comandado por Fábio Carille, não vence há seis rodadas e está em franca queda na tabela de classificação. O Alvinegro está na sexta colocação, mas vê o Grêmio ameaçando sua vaga na Copa Libertadores do ano que vem, e precisa dar uma resposta.

Sem Vagner Love, em recuperação de dores no músculo adutor da coxa direita no CT Joaquim Grava, e Mauro Boselli – suspenso pelo terceiro cartão amarelo – o Timão vai apostar suas fichas em Gustagol. O atacante Clayson, reserva contra Cruzeiro e Santos, é outro nome que volta à equipe de Fábio Carille.
